Internationals of Italy MX Riola Sardo

Good performance for Jeremy Van Horebeek at the first outing of the season.
First race of the season for the Beta SDM Corse Team on the treacherous Riola Sardo track for the second round of the MX 2022 Internationals of Italy.
Jeremy Van Horebeek is immediately at ease on the Sardinian sand and in qualifying he sets a good sixth time overall.
At the start of the heats Jeremy got off to a very good start, managing to recover some positions in the early stages of the race, passing in fourth position. Van Horebeek with an excellent pace made up the gap with his rivals and in the course of the last laps he conquered the third position.

Jeremy Van Horebeek climbs on the third step of the podium of the day.
In the final race of the day the “Supercampione” Jeremy manages to start very strong by entering third position behind Gajsere and Prado, unfortunately due to a problem with the rear brake he was forced to return to the pit lane to ensure that his technicians could fix the problem. The strong Belgian driver still returned to the race even if he delayed in order to continue to get more and more feeling with his Beta 450 RX.
Alessandro Lupino absent at this appointment is carrying out tests with Beta technicians in order to be ready for the first World Championship race on February 19-20 in England.

Daniele Marchese Team Manager: “Good performance for Jeremy in the heats reserved for MX1, he obtained an excellent result that repays us for the great work we are doing, getting the podium in the first race gives us morale to continue working to present ourselves at our best in England. . Too bad in the super champion where he started very strong but a problem with the rear brake forced him to stop. Alessandro Lupino who was not present today is doing a great job of fine-tuning the chassis part of our bike.“

Laia Sanz (Gas Gas) and Emma Bristow (Sherco) shared the women's TrialGP and X-Trial world championships respectively and Matteo Pavoni (TM Racing) won the Enduro Junior world championship, while Albin Norrbin (Fantic d'Arpa) was victorious in the Enduro Youth category. There was even success in the Trial-E championship for electric motorbikes, with victory going to Gael Chatagno (Electric Motion).

All the GALFER riders used various versions of “Disc Wave®” disc brakes (fixed, floating, grooved, oversize) and brake pads, in the specific compounds for each discipline (sintered G1396R for Enduro; semi-metallic G1805 or sintered G1395 for Trial).

Toni Bou conquers a 30th world title in Barcelona

Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou is on top of the world tonight in Barcelona having claimed yet another world title. The feat marks a 15th consecutive X-Trial title and the 30th of his career as the legend goes from strength to strength.
Toni Bou’s magic shone once again tonight in Barcelona. In front of more than 6100 fans and spectators who filled the Olympic Palau Sant Jordi, the Repsol Honda Team rider won convincingly over his rivals to achieve a new career milestone: 15 titles in X-Trial bringing his career total of 30. Toni Bou is the greatest of all time.
Bou, aboard the Montesa Cota 4RT, came out guns blazing in the semi-final to qualify for a final as the newly crowned world champion. In the final, the difficulty of the sections did little to prevent the champion from once again demonstrating his skills as the world’s greatest trial rider.
Bou’s domination of the world trial scene has now run for fifteen years in a row. As yet nobody has been able to outshine him in this period. During this time Bou has accumulated no less than 194 wins, 69 of them in the indoor competition.

X-Trial Andorra 2021

Toni Bou opens the X-Trial season with a stunning win in Andorra

The first round of the FIM X-Trial World Championship held tonight in Andorra la Vella saw Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou clinch the victory.
Toni Bou kicked off the 2021 X-Trial season with a rip-roaring triumph at the Poliesportiu de Andorra in Andorra la Vella to become the first leader of the 2021 championship.
The action got underway with the first qualifying round, where riders had to overcome a total of six sections with Toni Bou making several mistakes to finish fourth on seven penalty marks. In the second round, where just the top riders in each group would make the cut for the final, the Repsol Honda Team rider stormed back, delighting the Andorran spectators with a fine display of riding skills, finishing the round with a clean sheet to grant the champion direct access to the final round.
In the final, against one of his toughest rivals Adam Raga, Toni Bou once again pulled it off, cleaning all six sections for 0 points compared to Raga’s 11, thus sealing the win at the Andorrean season opener.
In two weeks the Repsol Honda team and Toni Bou will once again be back in action for the second and final trial of the X-Trial World Championship at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Sunday 21 November.

  JBM - Sport : 5 Enduro-WM-Titel 2021 für Galfer

Brad Freeman has been crowned the new EnduroGP and Enduro3 World Champion, while Laia Sanz, Matteo Pavoni and Albin Norrbin have also won in the Women’s, Junior and Youth categories.

A great season in 2021 for British rider Brad Freeman and his Beta Factory team. Freeman went into the final round in Langeac (France) under pressure from Josep García after four consecutive wins, but Brad had a spectacular weekend, winning Friday’s Super Test and the second round on Sunday to finish 18 points ahead of García and take the overall championship. Freeman also won the world championship in his category (E3) ahead of Jaume Betriu (WP KTM). Brad Freeman is therefore the new EnduroGP world champion, succeeding his teammate Steve Holcombe, both using GALFER brake components on their Beta: Disc Wave® RW and Racing Off-Road G1396R sintered brake pads.

In the other categories, 3 GALFER riders won world titles in the last race: Laia Sanz (Gas Gas) won both rounds and took the overall women’s championship by 16 points; Matteo Pavoni (TM Boano) took a first and a second place to win the Junior title, 14 points ahead of team-mate Lorenzo Macoritto; and the young Albin Norrbin (Fantic d’Arpa) won convincingly in France to take the overall title by 54 points. His team-mate Kevin Cristino finished third.
Australian rider Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano) also had a good season, finishing second in Enduro2 and fourth overall in EnduroGP.

The 2021 season therefore produced 5 world titles for GALFER Enduro riders, one more than in both 2020 and 2019.

The GALFER brake component brand was very prominent in the Enduro 2021 World Championship: not only did it help riders achieve sporting success, it was also one of the official sponsors of the championship and had its own stand at the last two events of the season.

As the EnduroGP World Championship ends, preparations for the 2021-2022 SuperEnduro World Championship begin.

TrialGP Portugal 2021
TrialGP 2021 Round WORLD6
Toni Bou wins a 29th Trial World Championship title in Portugal
The Repsol Honda Team rider has been proclaimed the 2021 TrialGP World Champion. Toni Bou – who also won the day’s trial in Portugal – takes his GP palmares to 125 triumphs and 15 consecutive TrialGP titles, plus 14 indoor: 29 championship wins for the greatest rider of all time.
The Repsol Honda Team ace set the benchmark from the start in a trial filled with natural yet demanding sections, where the first 12 sections had been made quite slippery by the water which flows through the Portuguese town of Gouveia. Bou made it through to the end of the trial with sufficient advantage to claim a 125th victory in the Trial World Championship for the Montesa Cota 4RT rider. This season saw him victorious in seven 2021 Trial World Championship events to clinch the top TrialGP World Championship honours for a 15th time in a row.
Today was also a very special event for Japanese Repsol Honda Team rider Takahisa Fujinami who brings to an end his career in the Trial World Championship. Fujinami rode a trial that went from strength to strength, improving considerably on the second lap before eventually posting seventh place on the day. “Fujigas” thus wraps up the world championship in sixth place overall.
With this final trial in Portugal, Repsol Honda Team bids farewell to this year’s TrialGP campaign. The next appointment for Toni Bou will be tomorrow, held in the same Portuguese town, where the champion will represent the Spanish national team in the Trial des Nations event.

TrialGP Spain 2021
TrialGP 2021 Round WORLD5
Toni Bou’s Spanish TrialGP double leaves him just one point shy of a 15th title
Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou won for the second day running in the trial at Pobladura de las Regueras, León, to secure a sixth win of the season. Bou increased his lead in the championship standings to 19 points. Fujinami finished seventh.
As had been expected, Toni Bou had to struggle somewhat at the trial in Pobladura de las Regueras today. Opponent Jaime Busto put the pressure on the champion and it wasn’t until the very final sections that the event swung in favour of the Repsol Honda Team rider. With the triumph, the sixth of the season, Toni Bou increases the gap at the head of the overall championship, now holding a 19-point lead over second-placed rider Adam Raga. Bou needs just a single point next Saturday to be crowned 2021TrialGP champion.
Japan’s Takahisa Fujinami struggled today after being the second rider in the elite category to tackle the sections. “Fujigas” had to make do with virtually no lines of reference from his opponents, leading to a particularly taxing first 12-section lap. On lap two things picked up with the rider eventually going on to post seventh position. Fujinami remains fifth in the world championship standings.
The final event of the 2021 Trial World Championship will be held next Saturday in Gouveia, Portugal. The following day, Sunday 19, the Trial of Nations is scheduled to take place in the same Portuguese town.

TrialGP 2021 Round WORLD2
A win in Pobladura moves Toni Bou closer to a 15th TrialGP title
Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou rode to a fine victory in Pobladura de las Regueras, León, in the seventh round of the TrialGP World Championship. Team-mate Takahisa Fujinami posted ninth place.
The course of this seventh event of the elite trial competition played out over varied terrain with river areas offering little grip and indoor-style areas featuring logs and stones, with riders having to complete two laps of the twelve-section course.
Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou dominated the first of the double-date event in Pobladura de las Regueras with an excellent showing, finishing with a total of sixteen marks, twenty less than the nearest second-placed rider, arch rival Adam Raga. Bou continues to lead the overall TrialGP World Championship standings, currently fourteen points clear of the second-placed adversary.
Japanese rider Takahisa Fujinami has seen better days and struggled to find the right sensations to keep up the necessary pace and, in spite of improving over the second lap, eventually finished in ninth spot. The result sees ‘Fujigas’ holding fifth in the general world championship standings.
With no time to rest, Repsol Honda Team will go straight on to tackle tomorrow’s eighth trial, the penultimate in the world championship at the same venue in the Bierzo region.
