Vier Läufe - 4 Siege

X-TRIAL BARCELONA 20
X-Trial 2020 Round XTR4
No unlucky 13 as Toni Bou makes it 4 out of 4 in the X-Trial World Championship in Barcelona.
The fourth round of the 2020 X-Trial World Championship, held this evening in Palau Sant Jordi, saw Toni Bou claim a fourth consecutive win this season and a thirteenth indoor triumph in Barcelona.
Repsol Honda Team’s Toni Bou, seeking redemption after having failed to clinch top honours in last year’s Palau Sant Jordi event, scooped a superb victory in one of the most spectacular finals to date.
The evening’s action got underway with the preliminary qualifying round with riders tackling a total of six sections. Bou notched up a total of 9 penalty marks, two more than arch-rival Adam Raga. With the winners of each of the qualifying heats moving into the next round, the Repsol Honda Team swapped bikes and looked visibly more at ease. The rider then cruised into the Grand Final, accruing just six penalty marks on the way.
In the final, the Repsol Honda Team champ, encouraged throughout by the Barcelona spectators, proved that he is undoubtedly on the hottest form in the indoor discipline. Bou overcame his toughest adversary Adam Raga in the very last Montesa section of the Barcelona indoor trial event, to deliver victory number 13 to the Palau Sant Jordi crowd, for a 66th X-Trial World Championship win.
The result extends the Repsol Honda Team ace’s lead in the overall standings further to a 20-point advantage, with three trials still to run before the indoor season wraps up. The next outing will be held in Bilbao’s Bizkaia Arena on 15th February.

Toni Bou - knapp aber wieder Sieg

X-TRIAL BUDAPEST 20
X-Trial 2020 Round XTR3
Tight victory number 65 for Toni Bou in the X-Trial World Championship
Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou burst back onto the 2020 trial scene, snatching a 65th career win in the indoor discipline, in the third points-scoring round of the X-Trial World Championship held in the Hungarian capital Budapest.
Budapest played host to round three of the FIM X-Trial World Championship where the spectators in the Laszlo Papp Arena were treated to a thrilling display from Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou.
Bou cruised through the opening qualifying round to claim a spot in the second knockout phase. The champion scored better than the other seven riders over the five-section preliminary phase.
Subsequently in the knockout phase, Bou again fared better than adversaries Gabriel Marcelli and Jaime Busto, earning himself a place in the Grand Final against Adam Raga.
Bou and Raga, both displaying top-level riding skills, faced off in the final over six sections, only to finish tied on points. The ‘run-off’ section failed to decide the winner, with both riders fiving the section. Eventually the victor was adjudicated to be Bou on merit of a count-back, the reigning champion having scored better in the second round.
It was thrilling conclusion to a highly-intense affair. The triumph at X-Trial in Budapest marks a 65th career victory for the Repsol Honda Team ace, further consolidating Bou’s grip at the top of the overall rankings. Bou now boasts a 15-point advantage over Adam Raga.
Repsol Honda Team will be back to tackle the fourth round of the X-Trial World Championship on Sunday February 2 in Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi.

X-TRIAL Reunion 20
X-Trial 2020 Round XTR1 , trial
Toni Bou opens the indoor season with a victory on Réunion Island
The opening round of FIM X-Trial World Championship, held tonight on the island of Réunion, saw an authoritative triumph from Repsol Honda Team rider Toni Bou.
Toni Bou, the Repsol Honda Team ace, continues to be on cracking form. The crowd at the curtain-raising event of the new season witnessed a dazzling performance from Bou in the Stade Jean Ivoula, in Saint Denis, capital of Réunion, who becomes the provisional leader in the 2020 championship standings. Bou made his maiden outing in the venue in spectacular style.
In the first qualifying phase, with competitors facing five sections, Bou was already looking leagues ahead of his adversaries with just six marks on the scorecard. In the second, with only the winner of each group making the cut for the final, the champion again lapped with a mere six penalty marks. In the final, up against one of his toughest rivals Adam Raga, Bou scored 10 marks compared to the 16 collected by Raga.
Repsol Honda Team and Toni Bou will get little rest as the second season event is scheduled to be held in French city of Rennes this coming weekend.

TrialGP 2019 Round TGP9
Toni Bou (HEBO) finishes the world championship with a full season of victories
.

With seven wins out of seven events, Toni Bou puts an end to the 2019 TrialGP World Championship. The Repsol Honda Team rider claimed top honours in the Spanish TrialGP held in the Ciudad Deportiva of La Nucía, where Takahisa Fujinami took the third step of the podium.
The final trial of the season was by no means easy. The steep areas and the lack of time to conclude the first lap proved a hindrance for riders. Champion Toni Bou finished the day accruing the least marks, thus achieving a 14th consecutive victory in trial world championships and a 112th in elite competition. With the title already sealed in the previous outing in France, Bou has completed a full-house of wins in all the trials disputed this season.
Takahisa Fujinami fought hard for a place on the podium in La Nucía with his endeavours finally paying dividends. It was a tricky first lap for the Japanese rider, struggling on the ramps in the sections, yet Fujinami rode a fine second lap to secure the third spot on the day. The season thus concludes for “Fujigas” with a formidable third overall position.
Next stop for the Repsol Honda Team duo is scheduled for next week in the Balearic town of Ibiza, where the Trial des Nations takes place, with Bou and Fujinami representing their respective countries.

Jeremy Seewer (WRP) finishes runner-up in the MXGP Championship!

Monster Energy Yamaha Factory's Jeremy Seewer finished the 2019 MXGP season as the championship runner-up after celebrating the eighteenth and final round of the series in Shanghai, China, on the third step of the podium.
Seewer was hit by a rock in moto-1 on his goggles hard enough to split his eyelid. With blood from the eyelid injury affecting his vision, Seewer fell but still made an inspirational recovery to finish fourth.
The pressure of the championship had been completely lifted for Seewer going into the final race of the season after he scored enough points to secure the silver medal in race one. The 25-year-old '91' pulled an enormous holeshot in moto-2, then established his speed and skill by defending a well deserved third place.
Seewer’s teammate Romain Febvre was classified ninth overall in the MXGP Championship despite missing six rounds due to several accidents suffered during the season.

HARTMANN (Clice + WRP)VERTEIDIGT DRITTEN MEISTERSCHAFTSRANG BEIM 2-TAKT-CUP

Das Finale findet Mitte September in Teuchern/Thüringen statt.
